HOW TO JOIN TEAM FAVA

Riders Participating In-Person in Philadelphia, PA:

We have 10 spots available to ride in-person on June 8, 2024 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The Million Dollar Bike Ride (MDBR) will bring over 750 cyclists and volunteers to Penn’s campus to ride either 10, 32, or 70 miles starting in the city, and ranging across the Greater Philadelphia region.  For more information about the event, routes, and day-of-the-event FAQ, please visit https://www.milliondollarbikeride.org/

If you would like to ride in-person:

Step 1:    Claim Your Spot!

Contact Project FAVA at hello@projectfava.org to claim one (or more!) of our 10 allotted spots.

Step 2:  Register

After contacting Project FAVA, we will give you specific registration instructions, including the required registration code.

​

Step 3:  Set Up Your Fundraising Page 

Click HERE to set up your fundraising page.  You will be directed to Project FAVA’s MDBR homepage on our fundraising platform, Givebutter.  Click on the “Fundraise” button, and follow the instructions to set up your own personal fundraising page.*

Step 4:  We kindly request that you either donate $50 (or whatever amount you can) or commit to raising at least $250.  One-hundred percent of your donation and fundraising dollars go directly to Project FAVA and is tax-deductible in the United States.

Step 5:  Share Your Fundraising Page

Share your personal fundraising page with friends and family via email, social media, and direct text message**.

Step 6:  Have Fun!

Dear friends and family,

As you may know, I have been diagnosed with a rare disease called a fibro-adipose vascular anomaly.  INSERT DETAILS HERE OF YOUR JOURNEY.  

On Saturday, June 8, I am strapping on my helmet and riding my best for Team FAVA in the 2024 Million Dollar Bike Ride.  I am riding in Philadelphia to improve the lives of everyone like me with FAVA.
